I wanted to major in neuro undergrad, but my uni didn’t have it. I double majored in cell & molecular biology/psychology. I have been thankful MANY TIMES for molecular background. Today: PCR cleanup > digest > gel > extraction > T4 ligation/HiFi assembly > e. Coli transform

Folks, this is the opposite of “taking politics out of science”. This is just one level below persecuting scientists for their political beliefs and undermines their free speech! These councils make critical funding decisions that should be free from political bias.
