Another safety development, it's not always best to extract an injured driver in his seat. This new @fia method uses a padded strap called a 'BOA'. Nothing I've seen before, not the sole solution, but another tool to be used . @FIAFormulaE #LondonEPrix #FEtech

Safety improvements are continuous. In @FIAFormulaE when drivers' wrists were injured from kickback through the steering in a crash. The @fia response was a steering damper, developed by PKM @Multimatic You can see the remote damper on its hydraulic lines youtu.be/f2mWXjw0YwA?si…
