Celebrating BBC Saturday morning television - from Swap Shop through Live & Kicking to Saturday Mash-Up!… and everything else in-between.
We've just updated our Live & Kicking Titles Guide with all of the known (to us) variants - and there might just be a few more than you thought! ➡️ saturdaymornings.co.uk/page/lktitles2… #saturdaymornings

We've been making a major update to the L&K titles guide on the Saturday Mornings website, so thought this might be fun to try - versions 1 to 4 of the titles all together! #saturdaymornings
Oh look, we've got another edition of Run the Risk.. This one is the first programme from series 4 where Bobby Davro took over as host. #saturdaymornings youtu.be/TgnXA6tSyxg
Don't forget all of the ways you can keep in touch with Live & Kicking... #saturdaymornings
There's a ridiculously priced L&K card on eBay at the moment... We're not going anywhere near that, but doesn't matter as we've got the ORIGINAL photo that was actually used to make the card in our archive! #saturdaymornings ebay.us/m/9cwLRm

A little Saturday bonus... Here's what happened when Live & Kicking moved from BBC ONE to BBC TWO on 11 November 2000 to make way for coverage of The Lord Mayor's Show... #saturdaymornings
The most elusive L&K titles ever! These are from the Steve and Emma era of L&K Replay (1999-2000) which aired on BBC CHOICE - oddly these weren't used on the first programme of the series. #saturdaymornings
We all remember L&K's phone number jingles, but do you remember the one that was used on Going Live!? Here are the variations used from when it was introduced in series 4 to the last version in series 6. #saturdaymornings
What's the story in Balamory? Some beloved original stars are returning, along with a host of new characters, when the revamped series airs next year on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer! More ➡️ bbc.in/3GxbF81
It's back to 1995 when the first series of Fully Booked was on air. The titles featured Morag the Cow. Grant Stott, who presented the first three series, was joined for just the first by Zoe Ball. This series was also the only one to air live on Saturday. #saturdaymornings
The third series of Fully Booked, which was on air today in 1997, used a revised version of the series 2 titles (which we posted a couple of weeks ago...) and sported a red & black logo along with clips from the programme overlayed. #saturdaymornings
Today in 1998 the fourth series of Fully Booked was airing, this was the first of two series of the revised format that dropped the hotel theming. Chris Jarvis, Tim Vincent and Gail Porter had taken over presenting duties. #saturdaymornings
We occasionally mention about the first series of Parallel 9 having one of the best theme tunes, so... As part of our 25th anniversary celebration here is the full opening sequence setting up the premise for the programme. #saturdaymornings
On this day in 1999 the fifth, and final, series of Fully Booked was providing the Sunday morning entertainment. The hotel theming had been dropped the previous year. FBi took over the summer slot in 2000 and returned to a live Saturday broadcast. #saturdaymornings
Today in 1982 the second series of Get Set For Summer was on air. It was the first proper summer replacement when it aired in 1981 with the titles shown here. Get Set and The Get Set Picture Show followed in 1983 before it became The Saturday Picture Show. #saturdaymornings
Back 'just' 19 years to this day in 2006 where The Mighty Truck of Stuff was being loaded with prizes. Just 15 programmes were broadcast before 'The POD' took over the slot for the remainder of the summer. #saturdaymornings
Here's a full-length version of The 8.15 From Manchester theme by Inspiral Carpets, which was based on their song 'Find Out Why'. #saturdaymornings
The 8.15 From Manchester was half way through its first series on this day in 1990. Just two series totalling 43 programmes were made, but the programme did have a belting theme tune by the Inspiral Carpets which was a reworking of their song 'Find Out Why'. #saturdaymornings
