Today I got a hole in one on Lochenheath Golf Club’s 3rd hole….182 yards with a 5 iron.

Tuesday night special…2018 Terlan Nova Domus. Excellent, the couple years in the cellar paid dividends

If it’s a nice night, an event you should consider when visiting Traverse City @cynthia_hayes

Tonight’s aperitif is a Jean Louis Chevy 2018 Puligny Montrachet . Drinking beautifully on this 90 degree late afternoon.

Tasting with some friends this afternoon. I can explain what aging does to white burgundy or I can let them experience for themselves. We tasted a 20 Fontaine Gagnard CM Les Vergers and a 14 Malandes Les Clos. Both were excellent

Wanted something a bit bigger than normal tonight. Opted for the Vallet Frères 2016 Meursault Perrieres.

Happy birthday to Stevie Nicks!! What’s your favorite Song she sings?
Time to change it up a bit. No Chablis tonight, Vallet Frères 2017 Mersault Village. Excellent, punching above Village level.

If you’re looking for an excellent alternative to Champagne. Then check out Sarrazin’s Brut and Rose Crémant

The weekend is here! Tonight’s wine is a 2018 Puligny Montrachet Les Charmes from Jean Louis Chavy.

Speaking of having a nice red last night. This JJ CONFURON Clos Vougeot from the 2013 so so vintage was excellent. I always go with the Producer over the vintage, except in extreme cases like 24. Then I just don’t buy.

The package has landed in good shape. Successfully made it through this week’s ice storm.

Only had a couple glasses of the 2010 Fontaine Gagnard Volnay Clos de Chene last night. It’s such a lovely spring day here in Traverse City, I think it’s about time for an aperitif.
