so yeah, dean said awful things to cas. but he didnt MEAN to hurt him. doesnt mean its right but it definitely doesnt mean he doesnt love cas. he loves him too much actually, thats why he reacts so strongly
he LAUGHS with cas. he finds JOY being around cas. and he finds peace and comfort, which is something that is pretty much ephemeral in his life. he doesnt only need cas, he WANTS cas to be by his side. he chooses to wait for him to come back everytime he's gone
but that doesnt mean he's MEAN to cas. he cares about cas, a lot, thats pretty much obvious. but not only that, dean actually enjoys being around cas. he has fun with him (he literally watches movies with him, they have drinks), jokes around with him, he's comfortable
