Just in time for summer, we are pleased to announce the recent hatching of California Least Tern chicks at San Diego International Airport! With five active nests now on-site, these endangered seabirds are thriving thanks to the dedicated conservation efforts at SAN.
#NewT1 airside improvements continue late into the night at SAN 🌙
Six columns of colorful smalti glass tile will greet passengers as they exit the TSA security area at the #NewT1. The column mosaics evoke the spaces glimpsed between coastal pier piles, evoking the ocean, the shore, and the sky.
Now complete: SAN opened the second stage of the Terminal 1 Parking Plaza, adding 2,400 more airport parking spaces. The Terminal 1 Parking Plaza now offers 5,200 parking spaces just steps away from the existing Terminal 1 and the #NewT1. 🅿️ SAN.org/parking
