Dr. Salata is an inspiration for all of us. To love what you do like he did is rare. The number of lives he has touched is tremendous. He was so present in our program & our Department and one of the kindest people who made everyone feel welcome! He is so so missed.
It is with a heavy heart that I convey news of the death of Robert Salata, whose brilliance was surpassed only by his kindness. His impact on @UHhospitals & @cwru is immense. We will remember his wisdom, compassion and tenacious commitment to his patients and global populations.
