Today, we remember Juneteenth—the day in 1865 when freedom reached the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas. Rooted in our Christian faith, we remember Juneteenth with humility, acknowledging its significance in our nation’s history.

Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon cutting for our newest Greek residence halls and the Bill and Kimeran Stevens Plaza—beautiful additions to campus that will help community thrive for years to come. 📸 Learn more about these exciting new spaces here: ms.spr.ly/6015SQaJU

Major milestone from on-campus living! Two new Greek residence halls will add 140 beds as part of the $300M Samford Horizons initiative. “I know you join me in prayer that Samford University’s best days are yet to come,” says President Beck A. Taylor.
Happy Father’s Day to our incredible Samford dads! We’d be lost without your love, support—and, of course, your move-in day muscle! 💪 #SamfordU
