Today in Nanyuki, Indigenous Women Council members met to address key gaps hindering their advocacy—lack of funding, weak structures, limited visibility & cultural barriers. A step closer to their 2026 vision of becoming a strong, independent entity. #IWC




Today,we conducted a monitoring,documentation and reporting training to grassroots human rights defenders as they are always the first respondents to cases violating human rights in the indigenous communities.MDR is important for them to accurately and efficiently do advocacy.




Today Samburu Women Trust facilitated the Kirimon community for a court Annex Mediation at Nanyuki Law Courts.

TRAINING INDIGENOUS PEOPLE ON NATURAL RESOURCE GOVERNANCE. Through the ramat project ,we held trainings for four villages;Westgate,Kiltamany ,Sasaab and Nkutuk E Ng'iron in Samburu County. The training saw us dive into all matters climate and natural resource governance.
