My debut novel 'The Missionary Dune' is available through Amazon as a print on demand paperback and as an eBook for the Kindle. You can use the look-inside feature to read the first chapter. amazon.co.uk/Missionary-Dun…
I have the entirety of my book laid out. It's 246 pages. Ten short stories divided into two groupings of five with a poem in-between. I am going to read through it twice more before I upload to Amazon and order an author copy.
I’m prepping my loft boxes for my collection of nature books. I think that I’ll need four or five or them.

The boxing of nature books continues and will require four or possibly five large boxes.

Frederic liked the ladder I made for him. I think that I have the proportions more or less correct.

When I have filled this sketchbook, I will seek out some videos on how to draw. At the moment, these sketches of my chameleons are pure expressions of love and grief. I don’t want to be thinking about technique.

If what we define as reality suddenly blinks out of existence, leaving us as disembodied presences contemplating an infinite void of darkness, it may be because I have failed in my attempt to duplicate page styles in OpenOffice.
The grand folly of writing about music yields 800 words on the last two Lael Neale albums. redlark.substack.com/p/lael-neale-i…

In a bold double bill. ITV4 are screening 'Jaws: The Revenge', followed by 'Police Academy 6: City Under Siege'.
A splash of magenta paint. Or is it that the top coat is peeling to reveal the older colour still present underneath?

I have been revisiting the films John Hughes made in the 1980s, which may account for this 1980s US highschool slice of life. samredlark.substack.com/p/the-view-of-…

These seed cases originate from a slender looking climbing plant that is currently scaling the drainpipe outside the kitchen door. They are the only part of the plant that look and feel like they are made out of wood. They are really light too, like balsa wood.

And so day 3 of my Evri 24hour delivery window draws to a close. Useless company. No doubt they will re-brand again in a few years. @evrisupportline @Evri__Delivery
Flying ant day appears to have been replaced by ladybird week.
I am paying off some of my karmic debt in this lifetime by willingly subjecting myself to the page styles in OpenOffice.
Shakespeare totally fucked up this Iron Maiden lyric, lol poser
A murder of crows have been viciously and noisily stabbing an early windfall from the apple tree with their beaks, like it's the body of Julius Caesar.
I am currently reading great swathes of my new book out loud prior to publishing it, hopefully through Amazon. This is what amounts to a final edit and I find that it is a good way of catching mistakes.
I harvest the dead flies from the windowsill in the kitchen and divide them among my carnivorous plants who do not care if they are living or dead. The alternative is they get hoovered up and become landfill. Better to cycle them back quickly into the realm of living things.
When James Bond wanted to break into an airbase he would have to scuba dive along a drainage pipe. Perhaps along the way, he would have to fight a shark or dispose of an enemy diver in a turbine. Now apparently, twats on scooters can just come and go as they please.
"At the Quercetum, outside of Lyon, the tennis is played on clay that has been mixed with gallons of pigs blood. Of course, this is controversial, especially now when people are so easily upset by anything..." samredlark.substack.com/p/the-play-of-…
