Our Bluenose II belt buckle is engraved right here in Lunenburg and built to last. A perfect gift for Bluenose fans, collectors, or anyone who carries the spirit of the sea. Available in store at 121 Bluenose Dr. in Lunenburg or online at loom.ly/xWKyELo

On July 24,1963, Bluenose II was launched at the Smith and Rhuland shipyard in Lunenburg. Built by many of the same people who had worked on the original vessel at the same shipyard, the project was commissioned by the Oland family. Photos from Alan Wilneff #OTD #TDIH

A few times per season, the conditions are just right and we can set sail in the inner Lunenburg Harbour. It's quite the spectacle for both passengers and those on shore.

It takes a lot of work to keep Bluenose II in ship shape. As a result, we close the ship to the public most Mondays for maintenance. If you're wanting to get on board this season, please check our schedule before you come visit: loom.ly/pb4Rk18

Kind words from a recent harbour cruise passenger, Celine!
What an honour to witness the unveiling of this beautiful Angus Walters wood sculpture by DaVinci In Wood Chainsaw Carvings at Bluenose Golf Course!

A note from our Captain while in Pictou last weekend! A heartfelt congratulations to Ship Hector on the successful launch!
Every transit between ports is special. But our last transit was something else! Losing sight of land, experiencing sunsets and sunrises at sea, and feeling the motion of the open ocean are memories that will stay with the crew for years to come.

Delighted to receive these photos from our friends aboard Mimi Jane. It's always a treat to sail with you!

Our favourite travel snack on board? Peace by Chocolate's Bluenose II bar. With dark chocolate, sea salt and almonds, it's the perfect snack for sailors and landlubbers alike. Available online or in store: loom.ly/svJgoYk
