Super stoked to share that we received the #NOA for our R01! We will be using speech and language markers to develop personalized, adaptive markers for #psychosis. Very grateful for the support from @NIMHgov. @zhhresearch @NorthwellHealth

Check it out! Our work on using automated speech and language features for longitudinal modeling of #psychosis symptoms is featured in this podcast-style summary from @dpn_journal!
Could speech patterns reveal the 'vital signs' of psychosis? The latest DPN Deep Dive summarizes recent work by @STANGlab et al showing automated speech analysis generated objective features predictive of thought disorder, negative, & positive symptoms. youtu.be/TR3s-CJ-cqE?si…

Super proud of my mentee and former research coordinator @sarahberretta who published her first first-author *research* paper based on her work at @zhhresearch! We found significant relationships connection aggression and social cognition impairments in people with schizophrenia.
Huge thank you to all of my co-authors, especially @STANGlab, who has supported me in pursuing this interest since early 2020 (!!). Grateful for her committed mentorship; this paper has been a long time coming.
Hope you can all join for what will be a fantastic talk!!
