And with that, the #GothicCrossroads conference has come to an end. It was the perfect way to (re)connect with my fellow Gothic scholars! Many thanks go out to @gothicmmu for the lovely time and for letting me present my paper on the philosophical horrors of the 'bad trip'!

DEMON LOVERS Many assume this is an embrace with an angel in fact it is an erotic encounter with a demon (Демон) by artist Mihály von Zichy. It is inspired by a poem called 'The Demon' by Mikhail Lermontov c.1829 #MythologyMonday
