My flight got cancelled so I was moved to a later one, upgraded to business class and the airport lounge. So far I've had... Two cans of Guinness, bowl of cornflakes, crossaint, cookies, a shower(!) and brown bread. It's not even 5am. I can never go back to the non-lounge life.

Predator Versus Spider-Man was sooo much greater than I think anyone expected it to be. A grizzly & blood-soaked thriller set during a heatwave/ blackout in NYC with outstanding artwork from Marcelo Ferreira and the colour art by Frank D'Armata has been fantastic in this series.

Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu Vol.1 I missed #1 of this way back & said I'd wait for the trade. Glad I did because now I got to read it all in one go. MacKay's take on MK is consistently epic. He's carved out his own corner of the Marvel Universe with the best artists in the biz.

So, Daredevil #23. That was weird yeah? The mushroom man on the cover doesn't appear. Like, that arc was over & they ran the cover anyway. My guess is, the mushy arc was cut short an issue because this series is to wrap up on #25 now but the cover had already been commissioned.

I guess I'm at that age now where I get an immense joy from getting the air pressure in my tyres just right.
