📣 💐📚Happy book day to me! DISABILITY INTIMACY has been a labor of love that I worked on for the last 2 years. I hope you enjoy it. bookshop.org/p/books/disabi…

Israel killed more Palestinians in the week following October 7 than Hamas has killed Israelis in its entire existence.
“Hamas can have no role in post-war Gaza because of the horrific crimes they committed on Oct 7 but Israel killing 20,000 kids, starving 100,000s, and raping their captives somehow doesnt morally disqualify them as having a post-war role I am a liberal this is a serious position”
The Supreme Court upheld a ruling that requires health insurers to provide certain preventive services. STAT reports the vote outcome and what it means for access to preventive care under the Affordable Care Act.
Today I saw the face of what we’ve become: and it was buried in trash. It was after the hospital. My hands still smelled of blood and iodine, as if I had just pulled death out of someone’s lungs. I stepped into the street not as a man walks, but as a shadow stumbles: worn,…
It’s Day 8 of Gaza surviving on nothing but salt and water. My ribcage is visible now, our bodies are fading like everything else we’ve lost. Our homes are gone. Our families torn apart. Even our flesh is being stripped away. We are starving, grieving, heartbroken, & forgotten.
I still think of Tinu everyday. I'm still grieving her loss. It feels just like yesterday she was still here. I was just thinking about how proud Tinu would have been of me streaming. She would have been there and supporting me like she always did. I miss her so much.
i don’t understand how to live in this world and not feel crushing sadness at how horrible it is
One thing I do appreciate about Judaism and some other religions is the idea that life is about suffering. Something about Christianity has become this prevalent idea that suffering lives are not worth living at all.
People are saying Eugenics but we 1000% should cure debilitating diseases and conditions if we can so everyone can have a better quality of life. Eugenics would be aborting, disadvantaging, and ignoring the needs of the disabled LIKE WE DO NOW
🚨🚨🚨 No need to be alarmed but HIV researchers at UCSF say that persistent SARS-COV-2 appears to trigger processes causing CANCER.
Researchers stress this isn’t cause for panic but for awareness. Persistent SARS-CoV-2 may trigger cancer-like processes, making immune clearance a key therapeutic goal.
People changing their mind and speaking out on the horrors of Gaza is a good thing. But if a person “changing their mind” is in power, and they do not subsequently use that power in accordance with the seriousness of the new conclusion they have arrived at, then that’s a problem.
Our brother Ahmad's campaign has been open since April and has only raised 10% of its goal. They need these funds to survive, please offer them whatever amount you can: gofundme.com/f/help-ahmed-a…
Indeed, in light of the great silence and negligence, the genocide and starvation will not stop. Every heart living in Gaza will bleed, and the tears, pain, and loss will continue. We will not forgive anyone before God.
The New York Times has helped to enable and sustain Israel’s ongoing genocide. A new dossier reveals the close ties of 20 top editors, executives, and journalists at the Times who have covered Gaza and their connection to Israel and Zionism. mondoweiss.net/2025/07/the-ne…
I know nobody cares about us, I know we're just a post and it's going to end but I'm really hungry, I'm saying we're hungry. If you’re scrolling, PLEASE leave a dot . it's just a dot.
The Israeli genocide forces illegally intercepted and boarded the civilian vessel ‘Handala’ flying the UK flag 🇬🇧 that was bound for Gaza to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians. The Israelis have cut all communications from the boat. This is an act of aggression against 🇬🇧.

what do you mean we’ve been going for 19 months?! please remember that having access to the internet helps people find the little food there is! #ConnectingGaza @Crisps4eSims @SFdirewolf @thellpsx
Today, Crips for eSims for Gaza has been going for exactly a year and a half. It is horrendous that we’re still doing this. I’m grateful that we still can. Thank you everyone! @SFdirewolf @thellpsx #ConnectingGaza Donate: bit.ly/eSimsRUs
I'm hopeful, though, that organizations can dream something different. Something more inclusive, more representative, more diverse. There are lots of dreamers doing this work already, and it would benefit orgs to learn from them. 7/7 #AcademicChatter
Virtual conferencing can be really, really good when it's planned by people who care about it. It can also be really, really bad when it's organized by people who feel it is inherently flawed and lacking. If we presume virtual connection is lacking, of course it will be. 6/7
Will we forge ahead pretending we are not forcing people out of the academy? Will we honor the claims we make towards a more diverse, global academy? Will we allow colleagues to be harassed by ICE just to make it to a room where white academics comfortably sit? 5/7
