Wild how folks get offended by honest, factual criticism when it’s not glowing. But have no problem yelling PROFANITIES at refs, TRASHING their own coach and their kid’s teammates DURING GAMES, in the cafeteria, and on the CAR ride home. You know who you are. Check yo self playa!
SGV hoops supremacy runs through San Gabriel Academy and still the team to beat. But Arcadia is coming fast. Right on their heels. If we’re talking about who runs the Valley. We need to see these two battle it out in games that matter.
Loyola. Servite. St. Francis. Orange Lutheran. All missed the CIF playoffs this year and yet we’re still calling these elite programs? Meanwhile, Chaminade and Alemany both made the playoffs and are just one year removed from a State Championship. Remove the politics!
Morning session Loyola-Servite St. Francis-Orange Lutheran Campbell Hall-Crean Lutheran Crespi-Mater Dei Evening Notre Dame-SM HW-SJ Bosco Sierra Canyon-JSerra Times TBA
Independent circuit reality check… BTI teams just didn’t have it this year. Top to bottom, it felt like a down cycle, lacking talent, chemistry, and results. Because right now, they’re getting lapped by programs like CPSA and All In Elite.
Big shoutout to @ClintParks05 and @TeamCPSA for taking home the Pro16 League Championship!🏆 From underdogs to Pro16 League Champions, what a run! 💥
The 🧢 on this is next level 😂 They really dropped a whole graphic for someone who averaged 2 mpg at Grant. Had folks thinking he was headed to Sierra Canyon 💀 Bro’s going to El Camino. City Section equivalent of the Wizards trading for the Hornets. Bottom-barrel blockbuster
El Camino Real gets a transfer from Grant
NOTHING will keep you on the floor playing more than being the best rebounder on the team will… YET NO ONE WANTS TO DO IT but they wanna complain about playing time.
It’s wild how much parents will spill to complete strangers at live period events. #1 on the list? Bad mouthing their kid’s high school coach and teammates. Y’all think coaches aren’t listening? Think again. 👂🏽🏀 #LivePeriod #BasketballParents #LooseLips
Way-too-early Mission League prediction 👀🏀 1. Sierra Canyon 2. Crespi 3. Harvard-Westlake 4. Notre Dame 5. Loyola 6. Chaminade 7. St. Francis 8. Alemany Let the debates begin… #MissionLeague #HighSchoolHoops #WayTooEarlyPredictions
Contrast that with Amir Jones at Harvard-Westlake paid his dues, earned his spot, and now starting and making a real impact. Took the hard road and it’s paying off. Same with Zach White at ND. All four came from CorePrep. Same foundation. Different choices. Different outcomes!
Delan Grant. Stephen Kankole. Both seniors. Two legit talents who transferred to a powerhouse and went from 25+ minutes a game to barely seeing the floor. This is the side of transferring no one talks about. The hype is loud but so is cheering from bench.

Feels like something a coach says when they’ve completely run out of ideas but still want to sound deep. 😂
JuJu Watkins and Nike are gearing up to launch her debut signature sneaker, the Nike Future JW, set to arrive in multiple colorways beginning Spring 2026. Nike Future JW Color: Metallic Silver / Light Crimson / Chalk Style Code: IQ8495-002 Price: $170 Release Date: March 5, 2026…
I had Crespi as my preseason favorite, but with Sierra Canyon loading up and rumors swirling about Brandon McCoy Jr. joining, the balance has shifted. I don’t see Crespi getting past the Trailblazers. #MissionLeague #HighSchoolHoops 🏀👀
Mission League HW: Sterling, Jones, Bentho, Linnekens, Holden, Thompson, a few freshman ND: Stokes, White, Bowmann, Nance, couple shooters SC: Adams, Martinsen, Kankole, Askew, Mize, Sati-Grier, Hounsou Crespi: Barnes twins, Williams, Mukendi, CTN Who wins the league???
Sierra Canyon loading and poaching season in full effect. 👀😈 They’ve dominated headlines for years, but here’s the wild part, they’ve never won a Mission League title since joining from the Gold Coast League. Looks like this year, they’re going all-in to finally change that.
Sometimes, the grass is greener on the other side. Was Notre Dame and barely saw the floor as a freshman. Now at Windward, playing real minutes, making real impact and just picked up a college offer.
After a great conversation with Coach Galfsky, I'm extremely blessed to say l've received my first Division 1 offer from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga 💛💙 #gomocs @allineliteua @latsondheimer @pollonpreps @MatthewGruskin @RyanSilver1 @WindwardHoops
Guess who liked the post? 👀Coincidence… or confirmation? I’ll let you decide.
A source to Wansa’s camp says the reason for his return to Cleveland is deeper than basketball. According to them, a parent at Alemany were “running the show” not the head coach and even housing other players just to play with their own kid.
Super excited for the Battle by the Beach event this upcoming fall! Featuring several top level programs such as Utah Prep, SoCal Academy, La Mirada, Perry (AZ), Windward, Palisades, and more! @GreggRosenberg1 @LACourtReport

Crazy how many players are still out there grinding in AAU right after Boys Cali Live and Section 7. Parents….rest your kids! Recovery matters just as much as exposure.
After Section 7 and BoysCaliLive 2026/27 should rest and hit the weight room. No need to chase more AAU in July/Aug. Take a mental and physical break. If you miss the game, play pick-up with friends at the park. That’s what outdoor courts are for fun, not pressure. Love the game
Basketball is simple. The ball doesn’t lie. Effort doesn’t lie. Discipline doesn’t lie. But here’s the confusing part: Winning isn’t guaranteed—even if you do everything right. Teach your players this: Control what *you* can control. Win or lose, character outlast
