Responding to a well presented opinion on ‘Looking to the future of EU-UK relations’ by ⁦@TanjaBuzek⁩ ⁦@EESC_REX⁩ & ⁦@Peter150610⁩, Irelands Jack O’Connor highlighted the fact that on the date of Brexit, the UK accounted for 16% of EU GDP & 13% of EU population

#Innovation is the real driver of growth & the key to create employment, develop new technologies & increase #EUcompetitiveness. 🇪🇺 companies are world leaders but international competition is intensifying. The 🇪🇺 needs to respond by achieving its goal of investing 3% of GDP 📈
