Extreme weather isn't caused by climate change. Recent droughts or heat waves are not unprecedented. In 1877, 4% of the Earth's population died due to a famine induced by worst drought in past 250-years, or longer. "Net Zero" will not lower cost of food.

Did you know that in a 1.5°C to 2.0°C cooler world than today, central European megadroughts were a lot longer and more severe? The period 1770-1840 prior to most industrialization was a nightmare for agriculture. nature.com/articles/s4324…
Ocean surface temperatures are markedly cooler this July than in 2024 across the Atlantic basin where tropical storms typically form. There aren't any. However, the weather patterns have persisted with weak winds and few clouds to dramatically warm up the waters around Bermuda
