Spencer Jones increased his flyball rate by 10% and is hitting home runs at a higher pace than Aaron Judge or Cal Raleigh. He's tearing the cover off the ball, and the #Yankees will have to decide between cashing in or buying into his breakout. READ: empiresportsmedia.com/new-york-yanke…
Can someone who perhaps reads better than me show me where in this tweet I'm suggesting that the Yankees' poor play stems from the NY market's tendency to exaggerate the truth?
You didn't watch the video, and that's okay. Yes it's overblown. Anytime the Yankees do well or do poorly it's overblown. It's the NY market. My point is that despite the clear headline-grabbers, there are still flaws with how often they get in their own way.
I can’t believe this is real, overblown is insane Yankee fans are insane
The Yankees have a fundamentals narrative that gets overblown by some. With that said, how can they expect the narrative to go away when, since the World Series, fans have watched numerous big games get flushed away by bad defense and baserunning?
There were pieces put out about Gerrit Cole not being an ace after 2021, NYY fans would have called Trea Turner a solid-at-best player for the first two years of that deal.
If the Yankees sighed Carlos Correa or Trea Turner this fanbase would be writing soliloquies every week about how the team chose an aging infielder over signing Juan Soto

Per @A_Jude of The Seattle Times: "The New York Yankees, in particular, are also reportedly making an aggressive push for Suarez." He also reports that the Mariners have engaged in preliminary talks for the star slugging 3B.
I spoke with Spencer Jones, who’s having difficulty staying away from trade rumors, including one post he saw that said, “get ready to speak desert, buddy.” He thought that was hilarious. But Jones made it clear that, “I want to play in New York and be a part of this…
A reporter cannot be asking Oswald Peraza that man I’m sorry
A reporter just asked Peraza how it feels to miss out on the opportunity and potentially be replaced at the trade deadline. He straight up called his career a “disappointment” As bad as Peraza has been, gotta feel for the kid.
Lost 6 of the first 8 to Toronto. They swept you and you showed up to Toronto with disgusting defense, lifeless offense, and an overall uninspiring effort. Don’t want to play tomorrow with the same 26 guys as yesterday. Would love a trade.
The return?
Now my sights are right on Volpe and Peraza here. Big game. Big plays. Routine ones too. You can't trust those guys in a postseason environment, go get someone who can play some SS and put pressure on Volpe's job.
I would do this minus Hayes. Trust me IKF at SS is not what you want to see.
I know hes horrible but.. would you like a pirates package keller bednar hayes IKF
