People who mock those building a personal brand are fucking stupid. Do you have any idea how powerful having an audience is? I don’t even monetize mine and it has changed my life completely. The social proof alone can get your foot in many doors that weren’t open before.
My Dad advised me to change my mindset towards my job. He told me your job is your personal venture capital firm. Milk it, use the resources it provides you and invest it into your own projects for yourself. This makes it easier to tolerate even when it fucking sucks at times.

Next time you think that affirmations, positive self talk, and having a winning mindset aren’t real… Just watch @jakepaul and his brother @LoganPaul who are both on the record to practice all of the above in front of a mirror regularly.
There is absolutely no reason to feel jealous when your friends succeed. You should be inspired, motivated, and happy that you are lucky enough to have a successful circle of close friends. Being a part of a successful circle of friends will only elevate you as well.
The anti-college tweets have become the most cringe on Twitter. Yes, there are other paths and better ways to make money. Yes, working for yourself is the goal. Yes, student loan debt is fucked. But if you think there’s no ROI in college it’s because YOU fucked up.
Shoot your fucking shot man, just put yourself out there. You have no idea what kind of opportunities may come your way because you just decided to take a chance. The ripple effect of having some balls and taking a chance is substantial to say the least.
Stop worrying about why you haven't reached your goals yet and learn to enjoy each day that you make progress towards them. I'm not where I want to be yet, but now I'm enjoying every step forward. I used to worry about why I wasn't there yet and all it did was ruin the present.
A few of my 9-5 friends are about to become millionaires when their stock vests. They're top enterprise SAAS reps who found the right company, got options, the company IPO'd and the stock boomed. Their lifestyle is incredible too, sell during the week and party on the weekends.
If you WFH you have to get yourself out of the house regularly. Gym, walks, work from coffee shop etc. It’s so easy to get in a rut and become a hermit just sitting at home working. Don’t build your own cage.
Alcohol has given more to me than taken from me. Memories, experiences, and deepened connections with existing and new friends. Totally understand the argument against it and fully support those who don't choose to partake, but for me, it's been a net positive. Have to be…
“Alcohol has no benefits” Has to be the lowest IQ sentence ever said The benefits are very clear: It’s fun as f*ck “But you can have fun without alcohol” Yeah and you can have an orgasm without a woman But it’s a whole lot better with one.
How 19-Year-Old Creator @JoshRichards Went From Dancing on Tik Tok to Becoming a VC Investor and Business Mogul Josh is lightyears ahead of other creators, athletes, celebrities when it comes to business and he's only 19. Here's his story: ~ Thread ~
Late 20s are a trip, you really start to see people separate in levels of success. Some people are doing the same things they 8-9 years ago, and others are accomplishing things that the former could only dream of. I strive to never be the former.
Bros, as you get older you'll realize how lucky you are that you have time on your side. Chicks are desperately getting engaged and settling because their body clocks are ticking. You can work on building your value while enjoying your life, then worry about all that later.
You're not lazy, you just have no momentum. Get past the hardest part, starting, and watch your momentum carry you forward. Ex: If you're new to the gym it's much harder to get yourself to go than if you've been already going regularly for a month and have seen progress.
If you're employed and trying to break out of the system to do your own thing, remote work is the greatest gift ever. No more commute. No more pretending to be busy until you're allowed out of the cage at 5. Wake up and build your projects before, during, and after work.
Tryna get so rich that my future young stay at home wife can start her own little boutique that loses 10k/mo and it’s a drop in the bucket.
Boys I'm gonna keep it real, this may be petty but idgaf I am petty. Few better feelings than when a girl who curved you when you were younger starts pursuing you after you've leveled up and past them. Smash & pass or ignore
