I share history, heritage, art, and current affairs related to Indian Muslim community. Occasionally, I delve into politics, challenging & countering narratives
While the world celebrates the Battle of Ain Jalut (1260), few recall the valiant efforts of Indian Muslims against the Mongols, which single handedly saved Islamic civilization from utter collapse. Thread 🧵: The Role of Indian Muslims in the Triumph of India over Mongols.

I condemn Partition and criticise Jinnah for accepting such a weak bargain, not from your fraudulent Hindu nationalist lens, but from the Indian Muslim perspective. Played well, Hindus 👏 - realised Ms limited your dominance - denied M rights - split India - blamed it on Muslims
Justifying partition. This filthy islamist.
Partition occurred because the Indian National Congress and other Nationalist parties were overwhelmingly dominated by Hindu nationalists. The Muslim League, rightfully fearing Hindu domination, justifiably demanded an equally formidable Muslim stake. Hindus denied it.
India wasn’t divided because Nehru feared Muslims it was because Jinnah demanded a separate nation based on religion. Nehru, Azad, and others still hoped for unity till the very end. We can critique leaders, but let’s not distort facts to justify Partition.

I was going through an old British Newspaper and found this: Lakshmi Bai died in June 1858 CE, while Firoz Shah continued fighting the British until as late as December 1859 CE. Both were Indians and from Bundelkhand. But, How many of us even knew about Firoz Shah? I didn’t.
Why is Lakshmi Bai popular, but not Nawab Ali Bahadur? Why is Mangal Pandey unnecessarily glorified & credited for something he never did? You know the answer. I mean, what was even Lakshmi Bai compared to Nawab Ali Bahadur? Higher rank? Larger force? More operations?
— Historys written written by the victor. Actually, no! History is written by the ultimate political beneficiaries. They may be losers, yet still gain the upper hand by benefiting from surrounding circumstances. For example: A certain section in India.
A delegation of Indian Muslims was sent to Paris in 1919 to vehemently protest the Greek landings on Ottoman Turkey and attrocities against Turk Muslims. It carried a carefully veiled yet firmly worded threat, urging the Allies to bring an end to the aggression.

To fellow Muslims of India: Do you think the CAA-NRC protests marked the end of our united mobilisation or the beginning of a new idea of mobilisation? Be honest and measured, avoid exaggeration and despair. What does your rational judgment say, detached from emotions?
