Ah yes, an entire video dedicated to shooting a figurative person/people you disagree with, as well as a US senator, just days after a Democratic legislator was murdered in her home and another was shot. Of course.
Our bill to cut insurance rates by 20% for homeowners who fortify their roofs was voted down by the House Insurance Committee. This was a chance to deliver relief to families—yet it was denied. We’re not backing down. Thank you to @RoyceDuplessis and @GNOHA for their allyship.
Tort reform is a scam. It’s a hustle. They strip away your rights and protections with the promise of lowering rates. But when rates go up, they come back and demand the people of Louisiana sacrifice even more of their rights. Sen. @RoyceDuplessis #LaLege #LaGov
Tort reform does not reduce insurance rates. The data clearly shows that insurers in Louisiana are closing claims without payment at an alarming rate while insurance rates skyrocketed 38% in 2024. #LaLege #LaGov realreformla.com/shocking-insur…
Last year, Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple said if insurance rates don’t go down, “blame me.” Now, rates are skyrocketing and the people of Louisiana want Commissioner Temple to do his job, but Temple is publicly complaining that people are trying to blame him. #LaLege #LaGov
Come out to the People Power Tour! 💪🏽 We know that real power comes from the people—and today and tomorrow are a reminder that when communities come together, we can build a more just, more equitable future for Louisiana. Let’s keep pushing forward.

No. They won’t. #LaLege #LaGov
Pro-industry car insurance bills pass Louisiana House. Will they stop rates from rising? theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/ne…
Insurance Commissioner Temple repealed the 3 year rule in 2024, making it easier for insurers to cancel policies—claiming it would increase competition & lower rates. Temple said if rates don’t go down “Blame me.” Well, Louisiana rates are expected to rise 27%! #Lalege #LaGov
Right now, insurance companies can decide whether to give you a discount, even when you're supposed to get one. I’m bringing back legislation to set a 20% minimum discount standard. It’s good policy, funded with state dollars, and it should pass. #LALege #LAGov
Today is the first day of the 2025 Regular Session. I joined @WWLTV this morning to talk about what’s ahead, including the urgent need for permanent teacher pay raises. Even a $2,000 raise isn’t enough for what our educators give our children every year. #LALege #LAGov
