Rothacs provides a specialist counselling and ISVA service to the people of Rotherham aged 13+ who have experienced domestic/sexual abuse in their lifetime.

Frith Space in Rotherham town centre provides a welcoming, relaxed space. It hosts many drop-ins, workshops, and community events… the perfect place to unwind, relax, make new friends and learn new skills. Have some free time next week? Head to the high street and get involved.

ROADS (Rotherham Alcohol and Drugs Service) is holding free drop-in sessions at Rothacs for both our ISVA and counselling clients. Each session is on the last Monday of every month. The next session is 28th July at 1pm, we hope to see you there!

Join us on Friday for our monthly Young Person's drop in for ages 13-18, a friendly atmosphere to be creative, have a chat and feel supported. If you are currently on our waiting list after being assessed, or are currently receiving support from us, feel free to pop in.

It's PTSD Awareness Day! PTSD is a common, natural response to trauma- including sexual and domestic abuse. For survivors, the impact of trauma can linger long after the event is over. You aren't alone, and free support is available.

This Pride Month, we're proud to stand with the LGBTQIA+ community. Last year, we supported 152 LGBTQIA+ clients. Every number is a person, and every person deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported. Happy Pride Month!

At Rothacs, we offer many types of support, not just 1-1 counselling. Last week, we hosted a Young Person's Drop In Group with tie-dye and bookmark crafts. Our next session is on July 4th, we hope to see you there!
