Today was our last session at gardening before we break up 🧑‍🌾 we watered all the plants 🌱 including ourselves 💦, made s’mores on the fire, dipped strawberries in melted chocolate and got absolutely no work done 😂 but had the best time @TNLComFund @church_prim @stmatthewsbrad

Today at champions the kids got the opportunity to help make their tea towels that they have been working on for the past few weeks. @TNLComFund @stmatthewsbrad @church_prim

Today at gardening we pulled some potatoes 🥔 which we got to take home. We watered the plants, repaired the shed and picked the ripened raspberries. The boys sorted out the compost heap and dig it into the plants. 🌱 @church_prim @stmatthewsbrad @TNLComFund

Today at cooking, we made a delicious Thai red curry 🌶️! For many of the kids, it was their first time making or even tasting it, and they absolutely loved it. We picked fresh Thai basil from the garden to add extra flavour 😋 @church_prim @TNLComFund

Today at gardening group we harvested Cath’s potatoes 🥔, Lynn’s carrots 🥕 tried some of the sugar snap peas 🫛 and then did lots and lots of weeding 🌱 @TNLComFund @stmatthewsbrad @church_prim

Today at Soul Girls the girls were screenprinting tote bags with artist Yaya after designing the Soul Girls logo themselves! 💖 @TNLComFund @BFootAllerton @stmatthewsbrad

We've been working on signs today, to remind people that the vicarage is our space and that we want to encourage everyone to keep it clean so that the gardens and buildings will be a clean space for the whole community. #nature #adventure #wildlife #outdoors #allerton

Today at craft group, the children created the most beautiful pieces of art work 🖼️ We painted flower meadows 🌺 using different paint techniques, then added stamped dragonflies and other insects to bring our garden scenes to life. 🐞 🦋 @TNLComFund @church_prim @stmatthewsbrad

Today at Soul Girls, we worked with the artist Yaya to put the finishing touches on our art trail maps. We also used pyrography pens to etch the poems we’ve written into wood, creating beautiful pieces that will be displayed as part of our trail 💖@BFootAllerton @LeyTopPrimary

We are #Wildlife and we need YOUR HELP. Due to shortage in our team we aren't able to run groups as we would like to. That's why we are looking for a male volunteer that could help us to run our sessions on a Wednesday afternoon from 3:30-4:45pm (even if it's not every week)!

Today at Champions Cooking, we made mac and cheese! We made a roux with butter, flour, and milk, then stirred in cheese & pasta. We also prepared a fresh fruit salad, watered our veg plants, and began a new story about how God chose David to be king @church_prim @stmatthewsbrad
