Climate Investing. Working hard on work worth doing. Be brave, be kind.
I recently had a fascinating discussion with Spencer Glendon of Probable Futures about the economic impact of climate change and the crucial role of community and happiness in combating it. Check out the insightful conversation here: link.chtbl.com/MUDNv6D9
Bravo!
The SEALs taught me to Never Quit and to rely on my teammates. Both were keys to our public lands victory. We never quit, always had backup plans. We defended our San Juan Hill, and we won. Public lands belong to all of us. DC heard us loud and clear. Z
Spot on! 🎯
I agree with my colleagues that the federal government has mismanaged federal lands for decades. But I don’t agree with their solution. The solution is not to sell public lands. The solution is better management. Let’s send legislation to POTUS desk to improve management and…
I'll let TR field this one: "Our duty to the whole, including the unborn generations, bids us restrain an unprincipled present-day minority from wasting the heritage of these unborn generations."
Some opponents of my lands bill are taking an absolutist approach, insisting that the total acreage of federal land must *never* diminish—even by a fraction of one percent & even if the land in question is connected to established, residential neighborhoods Is that reasonable?
On June 6th, 1944 American hero's landed on the beaches of Normandy under heavy fire. The son of a president fought side by side brave men from all across the country. Privilege didn't mean you could take more, it meant you owed more.

❤️❤️❤️
Armed with a pistol and a cane, Brig. Gen. Theodore Roosevelt Jr. landed with the first wave at Utah Beach on D-Day. This is the epic story of the first General to land on D-Day, who was also the son of a U.S. President. 🧵

All this Dear Leadering is the most anti-american thing since King George.

It is hard to play chess with a pigeon. He will tip over the pieces, shit on the board, then strut around like he won.
In the history of mankind, no individual has destroyed 10 TRILLION dollars of value. And in under a week! If you were trying to destroy your economy, you'd be hard pressed to come up with something more effective than the current policies.
Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship.
Never before has a president so recklessly and intentionally driven our economy off a cliff.
"Justice among the nations can be brought about only by those strong and daring people who with wisdom love peace, but who love righteousness more than peace" - Theodore Roosevelt

A great conversation with my cousin @kroosevelt93 about the nation's founding. Turns out our understanding about the Declaration of Independence may be all wrong! It's fascinating. link.chtbl.com/-gGc9a6Z
