The #RwenzoriThelujiFestival25 has been launched, featuring a number of activities, including cultural exhibitions, tree planting, a tourism promotion, and a Trade and Investment summit, all of which aim to promote sustainable environmental practices and generating income.

Queen Masika Rinah, the Miss Tourism Rwenzori Region, in partnership with Reach A Uganda, reveals that they will have a campaign in Bundibugyo to ensure girls don't drop out of school. The campaign will include provisions of sanitary pads to school going girls.
