We had commanding Republicans majorities and yet they tried to jam through a defective congressional map. My veto of that map was an important (but easy) decision. The few that stood up from the beginning like Blaise deserve to be commended.
I remember this like it was yesterday. As a member of the leadership team in the Florida House I bucked the Speaker and voted “no” on the original bill that @GovRonDeSantis vetoed. That forced us to introduce this bill that led to the extra seats. So worth it. Always vote…
