In an amazing turn of events, @YuviApp has preserved the ENTIRETY of Professor Layton and the Mansion of the Deathly Mirror! All six chapters were found on a junk F906i. Previously, we only had the first three chapters. An English translation will happen in due time! (1/3)

Cuebus has been hard at work figuring out how to chip dump this crazy pinout, which is found on early Sharp i-mode keitai. As you can see, the chip is extremely dense, with a 0.5mm pitch! Thanks to his efforts, the range of undumpable i-mode keitai is gradually decreasing.

I visited @gamepresintl's headquarters in Tokyo and discussed their i-mode game preservation project! We discussed many things, from dumping procedures to cataloguing phone models. It was very productive, and we now have a clearer direction on how to move forward.

The i-mode demo of FFVII Before Crisis was preserved by Cuebus and @YuviApp! The demo contains the entirety of Chapter 1. Last year, @krzbrew preserved the EZweb demo. The i-mode demo contains more features, like save data transfer and functional Materia Camera.
"Escape From Being an NEET! Usuko's Job Hunting Labyrinth" was preserved by LNRC. This i-mode game has an unique premise. The goal is to navigate to the top of a business building to obtain a job certificate, fighting through employees who want to keep their positions!
Penta no Tsuri Bōken DX (ペン太の釣冒険DX) was preserved by @frigamarrymepls! This is a cute fishing game starring Penta, the protagonist of the Antarctic Adventure series. This is the 2004 i-mode version; the non-DX version was released in 2003 and is still lost.
2Soulz preserved Galaga Kai, a previously-lost Galaga game that was exclusively released for keitai in 2011! It has an arrange mode with stages based on other Namco arcade games! You can see Xevious and Dig Dug in my footage. The DoJa 5.1 SDK doesn't run this game very smoothly.
Lost in Blue Mobile: Marina & Riku (LOST in BLUE Mobile まりな&りく編) was preserved by @frigamarrymepls! Contrary to its name, the game has an original story and characters! Its gameplay is similar to the Survival Kids Game Boy entries. This is such a neat find.
Well, it happened. I just recovered another lost Tales of Mobile game, Tales of Tactics! I cannot believe I have the honor of saying I've recovered almost every lost Tales of Mobile Keitai game at this point. Check out footage here. youtube.com/watch?v=LnCQYm…
2Souls preserved Dragon Ball Racing (trial version) and Naruto Keitai Ninjutsu Taisen (ナルトケータイ忍術大戦)! Both were released exclusively for i-mode devices. Our copy of Dragon Ball Racing is a trial version, so it only has Goku and one map. Both games have nice spritework!
Metal Gear Solid Mobile's SoftBank trial version was preserved by Cuebus! This is the second keitai trial version that has been preserved (the other was for EZweb devices). It runs pretty well, too! The full Western release of this game was preserved by @krzbrew last year.
I visited the NTT DoCoMo History Square! On top of there being tons of keitai on display, there is a large library of DoCoMo catalogs. Some contain information about keitai games! For instance, one page discusses Virtua Fighter 4's connection to i-mode keitai. Great resources!

Yuuku preserved Evangelion The Fighting Impact Rebuild, a previously-lost Evangelion i-mode game! This is a fighting game with little to no documentation online. The spritework is very nice. Every other preserved Evangelion i-mode game is a slot game, so this is a welcome find!
I'm currently visiting Japan for the first time, and I tried 1Seg on my P-01A! This is a digital TV broadcasting service, and these keitai models can still play them back when in range. While we can easily watch TV on our phones nowadays, this must have been novel back in 2005!
The Persona 3 - Aigis THE FIRST MISSION translation has a new update: Typos have been fixed GMODE UI has been translated UI textures have been translated but are being fixed Text merging has been fixed! :D
I preserved the first half of Valkyrie no Densetsu's i-mode port! Released in 2005, this port of the arcade original was split into two apps. The game runs better on original hardware. While I also preserved the second half, its app data was missing because it was never launched.
