http://mizrobyn.bsky.social Yes, I really do need all these cats. (Fostering for Forgotten Felines of Huntsville (Alabama) - email [email protected] to inquire.)
Nolan is taking notes on proper bathing technique. "First we cleans the feets. Then we cleans the legs.... What next, mama?"

Playing with (or near) Uncle Khal. I wasn't fast enough to catch it, but Sebastian and (permanent resident) Khal played a brief game of chase!
Since the Churu desk is located in the foster room, and since I don't think Lilia would like to have these two galumphing around the foster room, the cat trees in my office have become the Churu spot. Sebastian and Margarita approve!

This little smartypants - Patsy - was the first one to use the litter box yesterday around noon! She was very nonchalant about it, just climbed right in and peed, then climbed right out. (5 minutes later, Owen did the same thing! Nolan hasn't used the litter box yet.)

We have a lights-on, no-one-home situation going on here with Owen. That boy is FULL of formula and so so so milk drunk.

Nolan and Owen are in the crate having a tussle, and Patsy is all "I'm outta here!"
I tapped on the floor to get Nolan's attention, which startled him (oops) and then Lilia came over to see what was going on, and advised that I should KNOCK IT OFF. Yes, ma'am!

Nolan's got places to BE (he just isn't sure how to get there.)
I never know where I'm going to find this box - Sebastian and Margarita push it all over the downstairs. This time, they had pushed it into the kitchen and settled down for a nap, guilty faces and all.

Patsy's all "Innernets, LOOK what I found! I don't know what they are, but I gots two of them, and they have these sharp things on the end. I think I might be a superhero!"

love-and-hisses.com/7-25-25/ The Love & Hisses blog post for Friday, July 25th. 🙂

Good night innernets. (Owen (back left), Nolan (back right), and Patsy serving as pillow.)

🎉 Former foster Tina - remember her? Sure you do, it's only been 6 months since she went home! Well, here she is - and she is doing great while giving us the slow-blink look of looove. ❤️ (Thanks Jennifer!)

Sebastian "discovered" this tiny cat hut (which has been sitting there for a couple of weeks), and it's just perfectly sized for him.

Owen, Nolan and Patsy are roaming around the crate, while mama Lilia shows off her crazy eyes and then has a quick case of the zoomies. (The kittens are mostly out of the crate at this point, but still like to go in and hang out in there from time to time.)
Lilia's all "I was playing with my favorite red mousie, and these three came over and piled on me. Isn't it time for them to head off to college?"

Throw Back Thursday: 7 (!!!!) years ago we had a litter we named after towns of Maine and called (amazingly enough) the Mainers. This is the kitten we named Kennebunk and nearly immediately nicknamed Moop because if that face isn't the Moopiest face ever, I don't know what is.

🎉 Former foster Maggie (2011) was our second pregnant cat; she cared for her own six (!) kittens as well as 3 additional orphaned kittens once her own kittens were weaned. And here she is now! She is very much loved by her family and doesn't she look beautiful? (Thanks, Alex!)

Margarita has claimed the top of the tall cat tree, and is QUITE pleased with herself!
