NEW - BC gov has restored drug coverage for Charleigh Pollock, the terminally ill 10-yr-old girl from Langford. Health Minister Josie Osborne informed the family tonight. Says it's not acceptable Charleigh is suffering during a disagreement from medical experts about the drug.

Everyone else in the public service is cutting budgets, freezing hiring and laying ppl off, but @Dave_Eby's office continues to grow + hire unencumbered by those rules. @Josie_Osborne's chief of staff Andrew Cuddy is now @Dave_Eby's new "director of policy and delivery."

Today was the first time I heard @Dave_Eby craft what could be an off-ramp for gov to restore coverage to Charleigh Pollock, in the wake of what he called this weighty + concerning letter from experts. The @bcndp would be wise to take the out tomorrow. But we shall see.
