Iowa State Auditor, father, bowhunter, former prosecutor, pizza auditor. Running to be Iowa's next Governor. Public servant, not a politician.
Today marks the 35-year anniversary that the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) was passed. Iowa's own Tom Harkin helped guide this bipartisan legislation into law. It's an example of how we can make meaningful change by working together instead of against each other.
The German interlopers couldn’t spoil my Nordic Fest parade, thanks to hand-delivered lefse!!
TIL that that SUPER tall guy I saw on that INSANELY big bike on RAGBRAI was The Admiral himself! desmoinesregister.com/story/life/liv…
Standing ovation at @RobSandIA’s Waterloo town hall last night. It’s time for something different in Iowa.
Another packed house in Waterloo this evening. At my town halls, all are welcome because I’m going to be a governor for all Iowans. Thanks for coming out and asking your questions.

My third time seeing Beck live and easily my favorite, with my 3 best friends, outdoors on a gorgeous night with a TON of Iowans performing WITH him- the symphony! As a kid, I was horrified by the chorus of “Loser” even while I liked the song. Didn’t imagine that over decades…
I took a tour of the UnityPoint Allen emergency department in Waterloo this morning to hear directly from providers about the support they need and the ways our current leadership has failed them for the last ten years. Our health care providers do thankless work that keeps our…

Great to be back at the Black Hawk Labor Temple for lunch with the Hawkeye Area Labor Council, UFCW and ISEA in Waterloo! Workers and their families will always have a seat at the table when I’m governor.

Sometimes an invitation goes a long way. I’ve always thought about, talked about, trying RAGBRAI. Then Team Spare Tire invited me. I had a blast! Makes me all the more glad we are inviting all Iowans to my town halls- including you: Robsand.com/events

Biking across part of Iowa easily reminds you of why we love this place - especially when we come together to do big things.
Thank you to Cedar Falls Mayor Danny Laudick for showing me around. I had a blast and met some new friends.

Me - 1 Pork chop - 0 Thanks for the bike fuel, Mr. Porkchop and Skoglund Meats.
.@RobSandIA wrapped up the day in Cedar Falls by touring downtown with Mayor Danny Laudick and meeting with hardworking volunteers.

"Keep on moving, and keep on trucking." Wise words from @RobSandIA, and a great piece from his day on the #RAGBRAI trail 👇#IAGov desmoinesregister.com/story/life/liv…
Seniors who paid into Social Security deserve to receive the full benefits they are entitled to. Too bad every one of lowa's representatives voted for a budget that will cut those hard-earned benefits axios.com/2025/07/24/soc…
Brian had a Norway jersey on so of course I chatted him up and of course his family’s from Winneshiek County and of course from Decorah/Ossian and of course we batted family names around to see if we were related and probably not but close enough.
