Man United start their tour of America with a 2-1 win over West Ham in New Jersey. Fernandes still the main man. Second goal was quality. Ugarte and Mainoo looked good in midfield. Decent save from Bayindir right at the end.
Man United leading 1-0 at half-time. Fernandes penalty. Played well. Ugarte has looked good in midfield and Cunha has been bright. Plenty of positives.
Cunha starting for Man United against West Ham in New Jersey today. Mbeumo not involved. Not as far along in his pre-season schedule and not ready to play a match. Mazraoui also absent after picking up a knock.

Mbeumo and Cunha in the Man United squad travelling to Chicago today. Martinez part of the group to continue rehabilitation in the US but won't play or train with the team. Maguire staying behind due to a personal matter but could join up later.
Fair to say that Man United aren't thrilled with how Brentford handled the Mbeumo negotiation. View is that their valuation changed repeatedly and at one point it was as high as £70m + £7m. Also believe Brentford wanted Mbeumo to reject United in favour of Newcastle or Spurs.
Bryan Mbeumo's move to Man United is complete. Fee of £65m plus £6m in potential add-ons based on individual and team performance. Contract until 2030 plus the option of an additional year.
Man City confirm signing of Sverre Nypan. Deal worth £12.5m. Contract until 2030.
Anthony Elanga to Newcastle is good news for Man United. Due 15 percent of any profit as part of the deal which took him to Forest. Should be upwards of £5m.
“Ugly duckling” Fluminense are into the last four of the Club World Cup. Al-Hilal out, but they’ve left their mark. espn.com/soccer/story/_…
Fluminense have produced the only two moments of real quality in the first half. Martinelli's goal and Fabio's save from Koulibaly outstanding. Lead Al-Hilal 1-0 at half-time.
Moment of silence ahead of Al-Hilal vs Fluminense in memory of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva. Ruben Neves and Joao Cancelo, both starting for Al-Hilal, in tears and being consoled by team-mates.

FIFA get their Club World Cup advert. Saudi Arabia get their statement win. And Man City get a reminder that their re-set will take time. espn.com/soccer/story/_…
Unbelievable game in Orlando. Man City out. Al-Hilal fantastic after half-time in normal time. Drama, excitement and goals. Great Club World Cup advert for FIFA. Thinking to do for Guardiola. Last season’s vulnerability apparently still there.
City and Al-Hilal heading for extra time. Fantastic second-half performance from Al-Hilal. Might feel they were unlucky not to win it in normal time. City have been all over the place defensively.
