A month after it happened, but continues to be an honor to be part of this esteemed group of Past Presidents of @CollSportsComm and enjoyed getting together with them again in 2025 in Orlando. #CoSIDA

I've been around this game for 50 years now, and I can tell you without hesitation the most important lessons I ever learned didn't come from a Coach or a Manager. They came from my dad. When I was 5 yrs old, my dad said "Hey, son, you want to play catch?" I said, "Catch…
Touch down in Orlando for #cscunite25 and #NACDA25 ... Look forward to catching up with friends and colleagues and also educating many about @RealProVB

Another season of @RealProVB is complete. Congrats to the Orlando Valkyries, who took home the postseason prize in the Match For A Million! Proud to direct the championship - thanks to all who helped make this year happen - looking forward to 2026!

The end of two intense months of planning after a very late decision on the @RealProVB Championship locaton, all is ready to go for the top 4 pro volleyball teams in America to battle for the title and one million dollars! #matchforamillion ... Play starts tomorrow at 7 pm CT!

Wow. I have seen a downturn in wtiting skills recently, but this tops the list. Don't ever bury the very important lead, folks!
Today is the 160th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's assassination and also the 160th anniversary of the most buried lede in the history of journalism. AP's dispatch from 1865:

Once again have the privilege of working one of the great sporting events ... #MarchMadness ... and never take it for granted. My 28th - some years on multiple levels - but it is always great to see games and more importantly the professional acquaintances that are now friends!

Great read and walk down memory lane ... I have been very fortunate to be in attendance at 26 of these 40 Final Fours. #MarchMadness nytimes.com/athletic/61738…
It was a long week and a busy several months leading the team that put together the historic inaugural @RealProVB All-Star Match last Saturday, but couldn't be prouder of how it turned out. Plus, got to share it with my boys and even put them to work (a bit!).

⭐️ The wait is almost over! The All-Star match is happening this Saturday at 1:30 PM at the Fishers Event Center ⭐️ Can’t be there? Stream it live on CBS Sports & Paramount+! Who’s ready for the showdown? ⬇️
As a comms professional (and former @CollSportsComm President), I would strongly discourage any team - college or professional - from adopting such a policy. This in no way helps the athletes to grow, is bad for the program and most importantly, shows no accountability. #badidea
Always admired the class & dignity athletes show in defeat. It's not fun, but it's accountability. It's also what they're asked to do as pros; shielding them does no one any favors to prepare them for their futures, for dealing w disappointment, for essentially growing up.
Season Two begins tonight. 7 p.m. ET on FS2. #Volleyball #vball youtu.be/kma7sHcMm4I?fe…
This is my favorite thing Jim Mora has done this month. He understands the reality of the current game, embraces it, and congratulates his players who get a great opportunity for themselves after being great for UConn.
Great read on the best to ever do his craft in the history of baaeball. #RIPRickeyHenderson nytimes.com/athletic/60132…
Agree 100%. #CFP2024
It took a century for college football to finally stage a legit playoff. But the first round passed with every game a dud, because @CFBPlayoff adopted the format of @NFL rather than @MarchMadnessMBB. Let’s not wait another hundred years to get this right. sportingnews.com/us/ncaa-footba…
"Everything about Connecticut basketball is special" Geno Auriemma joins @ChelseaSherrod to reflect on becoming the winningest coach in NCAA Basketball history
You know what's really cool? Every single Men's and Women's Head basketball coach at the University of Connecticut for the past 40 years has won a national championship, and three of them have multiple titles...@UConnMBB @UConnWBB
