You know your onto a good thing when you have 22 players come to training on a wednesday night. For little ol' Ridgeway Rovers. A mix of squad players and new trialists. And this was with some of the squad missing the evening too. A great session to get us ready for the matches.

Preseason training underway and preseason matches starting in less than a month. Adults/mens team playing in Swindon,Wiltshire.

So, following the @sdflswindon AGM last night, this is what our Division is going to be looking like. A couple of different teams to meet and pitches to enjoy, alongside some familiar opponents from last season. Here's to the 2025/2026 season. #uptherovers

1st week of preseason training done for the Saturday team. Bleep test on Wednesday night, allowing an idea of where fitness is. Followed up with a Saturday morning 45 min run at Barbury Castle, up and down the rugged terrain with amazing scenery. Brilliant effort so far.

Yes you read that right...... Football is back. This week we are back at it with open trial sessions for the Saturday team (tonight and Saturday morning). Next week, the Saturday Lads Pre Season training kicks off.

Open trial dates are coming up soon So if you are looking for a new team, or wanting to get back into playing, either drop me a message or an email.

Tomorrow night is the time. Time to get the squad back together and celebrate finishing our first ever season. The lads will be suited and booted for an awards evening and party. Lets give season 24/25 a proper send off before shifting the focus onto the upcoming 25/26 season.
