Poppies back at the @TowerOfLondon well worth a visit, especially on a sunny day 😃

Yesterday was World Brain Tumour day and while it is great that it provides an opportunity to help raise awareness very little has changed in recent years in terms of the diagnosis, treatment and cure of this all too common cancer. Over 12,000 people will be diagnosed with a…

Well I completed my 100,000 step challenge and then some😀. As many of you may know yesterday would have been our son Joe's 32nd birthday had we not lost him to a brain tumour 5 years ago. To celebrate his birthday I decided to attempt a 24 hour walk with the aim of doing 100,000…

Posting this again as now T minus 14 hours for my 24 hour walk starting at midnight tonight and looks like the weather may be better than forecast (I hope so 😀). Why am I walking for 24 hours? My son Joe would have been 32 on Sunday had we not lost him to a brain tumour 5…

Had a great chat with the Gliobabes, @mollyfentonx and Mel, can't wait to see what they make of it😀
Had a phenomenal chat with @RichardRawcliff who I got to meet at the Twilight Walk. Hi son Joe’s brain tumour story/death is horrific. Must ensure that when people visit their GP they aren’t turned away. Young people labelled anxious, or blamed on hormones Announcement soon🥰🎙️
I have put this off for 5 years but April is Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month so it is time to share this difficult read for which I make no apology. My son Joe was diagnosed with a brain tumour on Dec 24th 2019 and died on 3rd Jan 2020 aged just 26. Joe visited…

Well worth looking at this thread in what is Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Awareness month. Too many of our young people are going through what Jess and my own son Joe went through. We need to do more to enable faster diagnosis of cancers in young people.
When I lost my beautiful daughter Jess to stage 4 cancer, diagnosed too late, we were flooded with media requests to talk about what had happened due to the petition for Jess’s Law. 🧵1/8
#garmin #beatyesterday Great walk with an old mate yesterday, lots of sunshine and good company

At the @BrainTumourOrg #twilightwalk today we had the chance to say who we were walking for so I took it.

The T-shirt has arrived and I am off to London tomorrow to take part in @BrainTumourOrg #TwilightWalk along with thousands of other people to help raise funds and awareness of brain tumours during this #BrainTumourAwarenessMonth. My fundraising link is here in case you do not…
