That’s a brilliant £53m into the Wigan economy. But how does the Hull KR financial benefit from that? Maybe they should charge the coach fare to the Warriors #NigelWoodEconomics

Our only hope is Toulouse replace Salford in gradings. But either way we know that absolute pretender will get his club in, that he owns a stake in. So disappointed in my club. So disappointed in our owner and board. You disgust me
Now there’s only 10 teams, surely that rule needs to be removed. Semi finalists auto-qualify (and they can play in a four nation series). Rest have to go through a qualifying stage.
Quarter Finalists of previous WC qualifies for the next one.
Does anybody think the 2 teams ‘selected’ could be the ones who offer to play without receiving central funding? Can’t imagine owners will have voted to lose some of their central distribution. At least until a new TV deal is struck- then they’ll split it 14 ways.
Honestly, fan led petition is necessary here. We need to stand against corruption.
If it walks like a plan to get certain teams in Super League and talks like a plan to get certain teams in Super League, well..
“Corruption is the enemy of development, and of good governance. It must be got rid of.”
Toulouse have a great chance of making the top 12 IMG scores. What then? Or are the goalposts about to be moved once again?
They literally just might as well say 'the RFL have decided not to admit Toulouse. Everything else is irrelevant'
Self-appointed RFL Overlord Nigel Wood limbering up to give an update from the latest cabal meeting, after the shocking revelation that fans are spending more money in France than Hull:
So @SuperLeague going to 14 teams which means the abolition of loop fixtures. That’s great. However, gradings were used to in effect kick out London, so why are they not being used to determine those who are in the competition next year? The words “independent panel” strike fear
IMG: “So this is the criteria that we think need to be met to create a sustainable elite level competition” Nigel Wood and Co.: “I notice number of pasties bought at away grounds isn’t part of the criteria… I think we’ll take it from here!” *slams door*

Bradford will get in with their chernobyl crater stadium faster than Nigel Wood can get to the Buffet! He will massage Bradfords figures akin to Leigh taking 4000 to Catalan the other week, the useless fat bar steward !
A lot of people want promotion and relegation back. Some of them were part of today's vote. Determining which clubs participate in Super League by handpicking them is much less in the spirit of sport than a sport-wide grading system.
Just been re-reading the Super League statement to make sure I got it right. Can't believe they're using one way to choose 12 clubs - and using another method entirely to select two more. Well, I can believe it. But it should never happen. Horrendous.
Well done to both the Hull clubs👏🏻 14 teams is great for eliminating repetition of loop fixtures. the only reason the IMG grades are being kept for top 12 clubs is to avoid legal action from others who’ve invested heavily and might miss out for whoever the RFL want Corruption
A significant majority voted in favour of the proposals. Hull FC and Hull KR were the only two clubs to reject. Wigan Warriors abstained.
Quite literally one rule for some, but another rule for others. Sporting integrity blown out of the water before a ball is even kicked.
