Alan is correct. There is a body of evidence as to why @PFEW_HQ are unfit for purpose and incapable of changing. Likewise there is legislation across Europe and even in Commonwealth country’s, which support our arguments and suggest the Governments blanket ban on union…
Across the channel sits a court that has granted many European police forces workers rights. ie, Union membership rights. Officers fates sits within their own hands. It is up to them whether they vote with their wallet and force a Federation that appears to any objective…

As a member of a community how would you feel if you had commitment from your police orgs to train officers to act early to prevent harm. This is how we regain trust in policing. We dont gain trust by just convicting bad cops. We build a culture that reduces harm @RestisPolicing
Day 2 today with Scott delivering the full 8 hour ABLE curriculum to new trainers. We have a service bracket ranging from 1 - 38 yrs service. All talk about a willingness from their depts to use peer intervention to support communities and their colleagues.
Some good discussion here which for me ultimately leads to a policing culture where support is lacking. Again it’s culture that often inhibits colleagues looking out for each other. Looking forward to appearing on this podcast to discuss how to better build the team.
Episode 4 of the Rest is Policing is out. @leembroad and Trojan Wellbeing's Steve Thornton join @Martin_Buhagiar to discuss the current state of policing. studio.youtube.com/video/ZXU3tZAm…
