Franklin Park Borough will host a public open house on the Home Rule Charter on Wed. July 30 at 7pm in the Meeting Room of the Municipal Building. They'll provide an overview of the charter and its potential impact on the community and give residents a chance to ask questions.

July is Parks and Rec Month, so we are showing off some of the great summer fun activities in our district starting with @TwpofHampton. In addition to wonderful community parks, Hampton also has fun events this year like Christmas in July at the Pool and weekly farmers markets.

We have passed a spending plan for the state budget. The plan is reasonable when coupled with previously passed enabling legislation on education, healthcare, transportation, cannabis, taxes & the minimum wage. There is no final deal & much work to do. My statement on next steps:

Before returning to Harrisburg, it was great to door knock in Ohio Twp. I heard a lot about economic uncertainty, especially with on-again, off-again tariffs & draconian immigration policies. I continue to call for changing course to sustain our community. My statement below:
