35 years ago the Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law. This landmark legislation continues to serve as a great foundation for equality for all.

Earlier this year I voted YES to raise our minimum wage. 16 years of the same minimum wage is not sustainable. Costs have risen and corporate profits keep rising – it’s time for a fair day’s pay for a fair day’s work.

I’m proud to report that my bill on child custody modification (HB1412) passed the House! This bill requires a person requesting a custody modification to show a material change in circumstances. The bill now heads to the Senate.
