Happy Independence Day! Today we celebrate the freedom, spirit, and unity that define our nation. Wishing you all a fun, safe, and memorable Fourth of July!

Today, the Governor signed most of our projects into the 2025 state budget, bringing $1.7M back to Broward County. Unfortunately, three key projects were vetoed. We remain committed to securing funding to support these vital community initiatives.

SB 168, also know as the "Tristin Murphy Act," was signed into law by the Governor this week! Proud to work with Rep. Cobb to expand mental health resources, support vets, and improve care across Florida.

Pleased to share that our co-primed bill with Rep. Greco was signed into law by the Governor! It strengthens penalties for gift card fraud and financial scams—especially for repeat offenders—marking real progress in protecting consumers and cracking down on scammers.

Today we honor Juneteenth, a day of reflection, resilience, and freedom. As we commemorate the end of slavery in the U.S., we recognize the progress made in our nation’s ongoing fight for equality, while acknowledging the work that still lies ahead in the pursuit of true justice.
