Representative Rebecca Alexander
@RepAlexander7
Tennessee State Representative for District 7
As of this month, it is a felony to knowingly place a child in harm’s way or expose them to opioids. I chose to co-sponsor this bill because every child deserves to be brought up in healthy and safe environments.

Tennessee has an extremely healthy business environment that is growing every day. Our low taxes and positive atmosphere has attracted significant growth that boosts our economy and benefits Tennesseans.
In 2024, TN was ranked #1 in the U.S. for Overall Cost of Doing Business by Area Development. As we head into Q3 with nearly 3.4K new jobs & $1.6B in capital investment secured so far this year, it’s clear that businesses agree—TN is the best state to do business. 👏 #TNTuesday
Now is the time to gather supplies ahead of the new school year. Our annual Tax Holiday is this weekend from July 25-27. During this time, there will be no Tennessee sales tax on clothing, school supplies and computers.
In TN, we continue celebrating the American Dream all throughout July during “Celebration of Liberty Month.” @GovBillLee has named the month in honor of the freest nation the world has ever known. We are so blessed to live in the freest country on earth!

Cooper is a student from Washington County who has shown extreme dedication and effort in his educational pursuits. It’s great to see our young Tennesseans being highlighted for their success. wcyb.com/news/local/17-…
Unlawful photography is a crime that we continue to fight which is why, starting this month, the penalties have increased including being added to the sex offender registry.

A great morning on Boone Lake with TVA looking at the different species of fish & if they're healthy. Healthy fish means we have a healthy reservoir. The way we manage our river systems in TN brings in nearly $12 billion to our economy and supports over 130,000 jobs.

The @wcfrw1955 are leading the way to protect our conservative values in East Tennessee. I am grateful to all the strong women of our area and it was a joy to join you all yesterday.

So honored to pray for our state this morning on the historic Jonesborough Courthouse steps with so many faithful prayer warriors. Prayer and fasting for our state is all month long so keep praying.

Happy Fourth of July Washington County. It is a beautiful day for our Independence Day Parade. We are blessed to live in the greatest country in the world 🇺🇸

In Tennessee, we understand that the safety of children comes first which is why we created laws that: ✅ Stop AI generated child pornography ✅ Protect children in custody cases ✅ Increase penalties for child abuse

Tax dollars should not fund the abortion giant, Planned Parenthood, and the Supreme Court agrees that states should get to choose that.
Planned Parenthood says a federal defund could: ➡️ Eliminate 1 in 4 abortion businesses nationwide ➡️ Cause closures overwhelmingly in states where abortion is legal ➡️ Cause 75% of their abortion-providing businesses to close in 12 states alone It’s time to finish the job…
On this day, we remember those we’ve lost to overdose and reaffirm our fight against drug trafficking.
Three years ago today, the Lord answered generations of prayer with the Dobbs decision. The Supreme Court gave power back to the states to defend the unborn and in Tennessee we have proudly protected life.

On this day in 1865, the promise of freedom reached every corner of our nation. We remember this chapter not to dwell in division, but to honor the strength and resilience of those who endured unimaginable injustice—and to reaffirm our commitment to the truth that freedom is not…
The protection of our children is the protection of our future in Tennessee. Thank you @AGTennessee for your efforts to put our families first.
