Recent discussions about Black male college matriculation have shifted the focus onto individual choices rather than systemic barriers. Instead of asking, ‘Why aren’t Black men choosing to attend college?’ the more accurate question is, ‘What socioeconomic and political forces…
Yep.
This is the digital version of keeping limbs an body parts after a lynching as souvenirs. Shits evil.
the FD & BMB link-up is nasty work. unsurprising fr. they aren’t just appropriating ’counterinsurgency’, but they are trying to capture all discourse related to Black militancy and anti-colonial warfare. they want to capture it and keep it spinning in place, not evolving.
I played this game as a kid just to acquire Michael Jackson.
An absolute classic!
Cam Newton was so many light years better than Jalen Hurts, I don’t even see how it’s a discussion. But does he have a Super Bowl, No. and did Jalen Hurts play lights out during the Super Bowl both times, yes.
Huey Newton used dialectics never came to such a conclusion. His PhD thesis in 1980, the largest study of COINTELPRO at the time of its publication, argued that the US used a superagency approach to crushing the BPP and that this jeopardized the freedoms of the entire society.
No one denies Cointelpro, she’s just applying the same basic Marxist principles the panthers used in their time to analyze their failures.
I’m sure folks will be talking about this next on their podcasts and video essays pretending as if they knew already.
Nope. DARPA/the pentagon to predict the rise of social upheaval and revolutionaries in the context of asymmetric warfare.
Claressa Shields is a Black woman with generational, elite talent—truly one of the greatest to ever do it. Yet people constantly hate on her for the same confidence and attitude that most all time greats show toward their craft. It’s honestly mind blowing to me 😂
Yall are NASTY to say you taking Jalen Hurts over a PRIME Cam Newton😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Ain’t nobody but Philly fans 😂😂😂
White peoples fascination with George Floyd’s murder is tied to a technological and AI driven apparatus that enables those who never participated in Jim Crow era lynchings to virtually take part through social media and AI—a phenomenon I have termed Net Crow (re: Necro).
George Floyd appears in new commercial promoting “Comply,” a revolutionary behavioral medicine “Do not resist while taking comply, ask your officer if Comply is right for you.”
“He still loves me” on the fighting temptations went platinum in my childhood household.
White women make up a majority of lots of shit and never get blamed for anything. For example, white women are 70 percent of all OBGYNs in America and yet no one talks about their role in maternity deaths. They say "doctors" which avoids placing blame
The irony of whiteness is that it leads people to blame everything except itself. White women make up 40% of the electorate in some key states, yet people are pointing fingers at Latinos, Black men, and other ethnic minorities. Is it a lack of understanding of basic math, or??
You can look at these people’s works for years and they’ve never had anything to say about counterinsurgency. Now it’s at the core of everyone’s work. Funny how that works. There’s a clear co-optation/misuse of this analytic occurring that’s v alarming to me as a scholar of COIN.
Both the “MLK was a cheater” myth and the “MLK participated in rape-parties” myth were laundered by the FBI through same historian: David Garrow (who also infamously the FBI and NYPD had no material interest in seeing Malcolm X dead). This is who people on Twitter listen to.
This is actually crucially important because maybe the sheer stupidity of this will finally make people realize that the FBI-pushed agenda that MLK was a serial cheater is just as bullshit as whatever this nonsense is
For ex, if we standardize all votes to a scale of 100, Black men would represent just 6 votes. In a close race, you could consider those 6 votes as decisive. But the question then becomes: why arbitrarily single out those 6 votes when there are countless other possible factors?
Yes, mathematically, in a close swing state, you could argue that if a small percentage of a certain subgroup voted differently, the outcome might change. However, the issue is that the smaller the %, the more arbitrary it becomes to single out that group as the decisive factor.

PhD student, Writer, and Sociologist Matt Thompson (@obatunse) draws inspiration from the poem “Harlem” by the legendary Langston Hughes to illuminate the struggles of Black boys as they navigate a world where their dreams are often “deferred.” Read 📕: iansamag.com/2025/07/25/a-b…
This sentiment is also shared by Western society in general, Black men are met with more antagonism in White spaces. This explains the data showing that BM have the worst wellness stats of any demographic, they’re targeted for exclusion and marginalization due to their gender/sex
We know there are grains of truth in this—despite examples that suggest otherwise. When you really pay attention, “racism as a misandrist aggression” shows up everywhere.
