People who prefer “pragmatic” privacy over maximal privacy, or argue that decentralisation doesn’t matter in Web3…they don’t need blockchain. People who are creating abundance and increasing the total value in the world need blockchain for products and services that can't exist…
I don't think there is a uniform "crypto culture" anymore, unlike before. In the nascent stage, the culture was simply definable as being dominantly cypherpunk and disruptive. Today, those beliefs have recessed into being confined to niche groups. What was once the majority's…
Ithaca moves fast! I was trying to implement Porto into a small app ~ a month ago and the docs were under construction and incomplete, check back a little later and the docs are all complete, and now they have a universal extension. Going to play around with it soon!
small but impactful update for Porto devs at the bleeding edge we now ship a tiny chrome extension which let's you try out Porto on any app, see a swap on Base Mainnet below @_jxom cooked with this one 🐐
Seems like an ever increasing consensus amongst people lmao. Apple ex-tech, production company.

Exit windows are not nontrivial to implement, so one must beg the question, what's the hold up? Everyone definitely has their priorities straight...
I'll go further and say ideally no proper smart contracts and projects claiming to be ETH applications should have centralized trust assumptions. Though obviously reality will always be different, but that's what everyone should strive for, and never accept steps backwards
Pretty based. If only more people would just intuit this mentality.

Ethereum isn't a magic decentralizinatooor. A centralized application deployed on Ethereum is still centralized. I can deploy a coin that I can infinitely mint and freeze at my own will, that's not decentralized or trustless, that's just USDC. Stop conflating the two.
Oh no war in the Middle East Better sell my decentralized internet money with no ties to the conflict And then buy the sovereign currency of one of the countries actually at war
