The Intercultural Women's Group is a program that consists of a group of refugee women from various cultures who engage in activities with volunteers that alleviate social isolation, reduce domestic violence, and increase access to ESL, health education, and other services.

The Refugee Dream Center provides English classes at three different levels, available four days a week. Each class helps our community members progress in their language skills and achieve self-sufficiency within the community.



We were happy to table and support @RefugeeDream for World Refugee Day this past weekend. It was a wonderful celebration of the strength of our refugee neighbors and of the many cultures that make up our community!
This Father's Day, we would like to highlight one of our case workers, Noorulhaq Sadeqi. He has quite the story, and we are proud to share his journey. Happy Father's day to all the dads out there.


Today, Sam from @MosesBrown delivered a donation of 17 Lenovo Chromebooks to be used in the computer classes at RDC. Many refugees come to us with little understanding of how to operate a computer, and we are incredibly grateful to MB for donating these essential resources.

RDC Youth Coordinator, Night Jean, works with members of The Refugee Youth Program to assist them in exploring colleges. When the advisors at Providence public schools are overwhelmed, Night Jean intervenes to make sure our youth have a solid plan for their future. #youth

Refugee Dream Center will be closed on Monday, May 26th for Memorial Day to honor those who have served. We will reopen for normal hours on Tuesday, May 27th.

Tonight, The Accidental Sisters will be hosting a concert at the Central Baptist Church at 99 Narragansett Ave in Jamestown, RI at 7pm! All proceeds will benefit RDC women and children. Attendance to the concert is free, but donations would be greatly appreciated. See you there!
