Longer video from Tucson today. Tear gas deployed. Notice the protestors prepared with traffic cones, ostensibly to extinguish tear gas. Also notice how the crowd moves forward as a tight group, throwing projectiles from behind the layer of shields, pushing the pigs to retreat.
The revolt against ICE is spreading, with particularly huge demos in Chicago and New York. In LA, protestors have forced the eviction of ICE agents from at least two hotels. In San Francisco, protestors shut down immigration court after attempted ICE arrests there.
TODAY: Thousands took to the streets across the U.S. today, chanting "No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here" as they denounced the Trump administration’s brutal ICE raids in solidarity with Los Angeles.
