True Progressive Conservative Against the Conservative party of Canada and its following of American values and ideals. Canada needs a PC party again.
Proof that a deal with Trump is actually no deal at all: “Fredrik Persson, president of BusinessEurope… “We still need to examine the details and hope that a solution is soon found for important sectors that appear to be excluded from the deal.” euractiv.com/section/econom…
Europe is not paying the 15 percent tariff. Americans are. There is no sense in which this is a “more advantageous” trade arrangement for America, and no validity to the claim that, by tariffing European imports, Trump has somehow extracted payment from Europe for American…
#NEW: Canada’s trade to countries other than the USA is up dramatically for the 4th month in a row.

Let’s get this straight: while rampant violent offenders are released hours after their most recent charges & antisemitic rioters vandalize businesses, terrorize daycares & block traffic without consequences, the Crown wants 7 years prison time for the charge of mischief for Lich…
@MarcNixon24 would be furious if Carney accepted a 15% tariff across the board. He is so far up Trump ars* and that is made clear by his praise for Trump.
Also, Premiers don't want Carney to sign a trade deal that has a tariff at all. Neither does Pierre Poilievre. And this guy would skewer Mark Carney if he signed a deal that had a tariff which is a tax that causes inflation to rise and goods and services to be more expensive.
A reminder that tariffs are really a tax on the US consumer… and Canada still has the best trade deal with the US out there, 90%+ of what we export is exempt under CUSMA. These same folks would skewer carney for agreeing to what the EU just did. So best to ignore

Another notable feature of Trudeau's Senate selections is their remarkable lack of scandal, in contrast to Harper's. No Duffy, no Beyak, no Wallin, no Meredith, no Boisvenu, no Brazeau (who, in fairness, redeemed himself and is serving honourably). Yet Trudeau gets no credit.
One thing worthy of note about Trudeau's appointment of non-partisan senators: Resulting Senate corresponds exactly to what Supreme Court said the Senate is supposted to be based on original plan. A House of Revision that does not rival the elective House of Commons.
Canada has religious freedom and there is no need for anyone to apologize for anything. The Toronto Sun wants Canada to submit to Trump and the US. No thank you.
Take that apology and shove it up your ass Joe.
Simply put you can believe in whatever you choose but I think laws should be written with no religion behind it. I believe in a secular Canada where religion is practiced freely and openly, as long as you don't interfere with anyone else's faith.
I believe in tolerance and religion, but I think to be tolerant you need to actually love those who are weaker than yourself, such as our LGBT brothers and sisters and those who are in poverty. But, I would never foist my religion in front of others.
