The animation model is live on the site and API! Generate full 4 directional, 4 frame walk animations in ~30 seconds (nearly 15x faster than anyone else 👀) with one click! More in 🧵!
Experimented with a new lovecraftian game setting this weekend. Still WIP. "Dredge" meets "Vampire Survivors" mashup. Vibe coded on Cursor, with Grok 4 (game set up and major features) and Sonnet 4 (small features and adjustments). Most artwork generated by @RealAstropulse's…
I finally found a good pixel art generator! it respects pixel dimension limits and you can convert existing images or generate them with prompts. 🧵
Alternatively, make use of ALL the tools you have available, and learn with help from AI. Literally a personalized tutor with 24/7 office hours and basically no cost. Or keep being stubborn and watch as artists with real skill use Retro Diffusion to speed up everything they do.
To combat this stupid AI pixel art shit, I'll be making all my tutorials free. Please learn the right way my friends - fuck AI.
And another one
Another cool picture -> pixel art conversion :)
i'm open sourcing all 1,179 spells that were generated in the inkwell discord so far. so who's going to make a semantic magic system using it?
If you're building pixel art generative games, you just can't even come close to beating the quality, consistency, or cost of Retro Diffusion's images and animations. Not a single manually placed pixel in this whole demo. All assets are 1st try, 1st prompt, no cherry-picking.

I volunteer at this local summer camp every year, but I don't think I've seen a sky this beautiful in a long time. Gotta touch grass or I die inside

Some more walking dudes- the minotaur and a lizardman spy
Just made some huge improvements to the quality of the walking animation model! You should see a lot less "weird" gens, and any prompt should make some really nice looking characters! "a corgi wearing sunglasses" "chill vacation dude" "wolf with a red cape" All 1st try 😎
Used this to make a ton of doom guy faces!
I just wrote a little python script to generate expressions like this from a portrait image, you can find it on my github. I'll put the link below.
war-torn Having too much fun turning my anime style images from Midjourney into actual pixel art that is precise and clean, no blurry, stretched or warped pixels, RetroDiffusion is the best Pixel Art gen ai model out there and nothing, (MAYBE Sora, but even then not all pixels…
