Vanilla Brahmos flies at a speed of Mach 2.8 or 960 mtr per sec. Older version of Brahmos will cover 124 km from IB to the impact point in Mian Channu in just 2 min 10 s. But according to ISPR, Brahmos took 3 m 44 sec. PAF radars couldnt detect Brahmos let alone track it.

How did the Brahmos missile strike a precise spot 150 m from a guard tower on Kirana which is around 7 km from Sargodha AFB? Why didn’t the jammed Brahmos hit the farm lands surrounding the base? How did a jammed missile fly for 7 km in a definite direction and hit Kirana? xD

The deal has been signed finally. Atulya ADFCR has a X band acquisition radar with a det range of 40/20 km for 1/0.1 sqm RCS. It also has a Ka band parabolic reflector monopulse FCR which has a range of 20/10 km for 1/0.1 sqm RCS. This cont was supposed to be inked in March.
