This weeks ratty paw paintings - everyone did amazing! Of course Olive had to give us tons of bloopers lol - she's such a silly rat! If you would like to order a custom ratty paw painting of your own, you can do so here: etsy.com/shop/RatPainti…

Bean the real-life Pikachu rat doing some fun tricks! I think we're all lucky that Bean didn't have electric powers, because she had a mischievous streak & would absolutely have used that to get up to trouble! . I have a rat training book available here! etsy.com/listing/160548…
This week’s paw paintings by my sweet rats - Toast, Popcorn, and all their buddies did a great job! . If you would like to commission your own rat paw painting, you can do so here: etsy.com/shop/RatPainti…

Many thanks to Ratty Box for letting me review their July 2025 box - check them out at their website here: therattybox.com youtube.com/watch?v=fKusRt…
Here Biscuit was doing her "sign read" trick! While rats can't read, they can learn to recognize positions of objects, and this trick is a fun way to capitalize on that! . I have a rat training book available here! etsy.com/listing/160548…
Some of my favorite photos of my sweet foodie rats posing with their foods!

Pistachio is learning to jump onto my hand! For a skittish rat like Pistachio this trick is a great confidence builder, especially since she's doing it out in the open and with the other rats nearby. . I have a rat training book available here! etsy.com/listing/160548…
A silly older photo of Tofu and Toast - I love Tofu's little smile here, she just looks too silly!

Bean doing some agility + practicing her basketball and drawer fetch skills! Bean absolutely loved agility and basketball in particular, so combos like this were something we practiced often. Great job Bean! . I have a rat training book available here! etsy.com/listing/160548…
My dwarfs excitedly showing off their newest noble steed!

Cookie doing her weave between legs trick! I rarely teach this due to the danger of walking around such small animals, but it certainly is a cute trick, and my rats who have learned it have all really loved it! . I have a rat training book available here! etsy.com/listing/160548…
Also happy nearly a year to my tiny dwarfie Pumpkin Seed! First photo is 11 weeks, 2nd is at 11 months and 2 weeks - crazy that she hasn't really changed!

These girls turned a year old last month, so I decided to do a glow-up photoshoot (top shows each girl at 6-9 weeks of age, 2nd shows them at a year old!) Happy 1 year to Pistachio, Carrot, Jellybean, and Cinnamon!

Cracker practicing her scent work + fetch trick! Everything was going so well until Raisin decided to be a party crasher and tried to opt in to the session lol - oh well, Cracker still did a great job! . I have a rat training book available here! etsy.com/listing/160548…
Latte's take on the "purse robbing" trick! Turns out if you tell a rat that treats cost money, they quickly make the connection and next thing you know your purse is feel suspiciously light... . I have a rat training book available here! etsy.com/listing/160548…

Next up is Olive! Like her sisters, Olive was a very confident and human-friendly rat! Olive was by far one of my easiest rats to train, and from the start she excelled at everything from item tricks to agility to balance tricks and more!

Cookie doing her favorite trick combo: that being agility! Cookie was one of my "pro weaver" rats who never missed a weave - I swear some rats just have the weaving talent and I seem to have one in every group! . I have a rat training book available here! etsy.com/listing/160548…
Next up we have my late girl Pickle! Pickle was a very interesting rat, being quite confident in many ways, but also being quite sensitive and more prone to spooking than her sisters. Pickle was a very active rat who excelled at agility, and in particular really loved weaves!

Not all rats can lift Thor's hammer, but Espresso was deemed worthy! Oh who am I kidding, we all know all rats are worthy! . Want help with training your rats tricks? I have a rat training book available here! etsy.com/listing/160548…
