Workshop on Chromosome Biology: "Plank meets Leibniz", October 8 - 10, 2024. At a meeting in Gatersleben, chromosomal biologists from @mpipz_cologne and @LeibnizIPK exchanged ideas and talked about the most recent advancements in their respective fields of study.
Our paper was published in @Nature. We discovered a new aspect of the meiotic homolog pairing process named Rapid Homolog Juxtaposition (RHJ). During RHJ, homologous loci undergo spatial juxtaposition from far apart to very close together in a short time. nature.com/articles/s4158…
